In the construction of industrial and commercial floors, the selection of polyurethane mortar floors and epoxy floors and the adaptation of supporting grinders have become the key to the quality of the project. The characteristics of the two materials are very different, which directly determines the selection logic of grinding equipment.
Polyurethane mortar flooring has the core advantages of high and low temperature resistance (-40℃ to 150℃), corrosion resistance and toughness. It is suitable for food factories, cold storage, pharmaceutical workshops and other harsh environments. It can be built on a wet substrate with a service life of more than 20 years. The epoxy floor is mainly decorative and basic dustproof and anti-corrosion. The temperature resistance range is only -20℃ to 60℃, which is susceptible to ultraviolet rays. It is more suitable for dry indoor spaces such as electronics factories and offices, with a service life of 3-5 years.
Grinding equipment needs to accurately match the material characteristics: polyurethane mortar floor has high hardness and strong toughness. It is necessary to choose an adjustable pressure shot blasting machine or a professional grinding machine to improve the coating adhesion through high-frequency impact and pressure adjustment; epoxy flooring focuses on fine polishing, which is suitable for high-speed lightweight grinding machines such as Oike OK-600. The rotational speed is 800-1800r/min, which supports dry and wet operation to meet the needs of mirror polishing.
